I’ve just found a local GP that advocates LCHF so I’m going to make an appointment with him asap
2 month newbie - need help with stomach fat & energy levels

Does this mean you can’t have coffee while you serve customers? I guess I can’t remember seeing a bank server drinking coffee (despite the CommBank ad!! ).
All I can say is that getting your water in is critical, and you should take it seriously. Lack of water will always cause problems.
Cheers

Are you sure you should be taking all those electrolytes every day? You seem like a smallish person. I am too, and I can’t handle that level of any of those electrolytes. I’m very careful with them. They make me get bloated for sure.
Today I may have over eaten 🤦
171g fat, 82g protein, 18g carbs (1900 calories)
Depends! Were you physically hungry for every bite? Or did you eat because it was there/out of habit etc? If you ate to hunger you didn’t overeat
Hmmm a bit of both really. Had a Well Naturally chocolate bar that I shouldn’t of had at lunch (And I realised today that 6 pieces are 3 servings when I was counting the whole bar as 1!).
But still kept my day under 20g carbs so i guess that’s a bonus
Try a Vit B complex, ive needed to take one daily for ever as i use to be flat and moody first thing in the morning that all changed now i feel like im turbo charged.
As for your bloating its possible your belly does not like something thats going into it, very normal if suffering from IBS, even if you dont have the condion its still possible, a good think about what you have added that you never used before might be a start.
This could very well be a situation where your perception of your belly size is that it’s growing when in fact it’s staying the same and everything around it is shrinking. I would definitely try to rule out any medical issues though. Have some scans done of your midsection to make sure it’s really fat and not something else.
Assuming it really is fat and there’s nothing wrong, the only real solution is to KCKO. When your body runs out of other fat deposits it’ll start on that one. You can’t really control how that happens except to keep your body in a state where it’s losing weight. When you are sure you’re fat adapted you could look into multi day fasting as well to speed things up.
This might be TMI, but I caught up with a friend of mine today who is also new to keto and has been complaining of the same issues for some time.
She had an ultrasound (or scan I forget what she said exactly) and it turns out she is seriously chocka-block backed up with .
She’s day one into a four day course of laxatives and hoping for relief soon.
It’s a common issue for keto folk a believe?
I’m thinking it might be a part of my issue. Some days I can go days without going, others I go every day but I don’t feel empty (wow sorry tmi!). I have also been noticing that I’ve been getting a very hard bloated belly from the first thing I eat/drink and it doesn’t go away all day and gets worse when I eat again. So yeah definitely think there is something not agreeing with me. I’m struggling to do my pants up now too.
I’m adding a question to (ahhh can’t scroll up to read her/his name, OK then) this post.
Is it allowable to add psyllium husk to a keto diet? A quick search indicates carbs aren’t digestible.
But they might be a strange ingredient and difficult to ‘cook’ with…So I’m wondering if thet can be wizzed to a powder and used for thickening sauces.
Psyllium is the main ingredient in many aperients.
Oh I forgot about this. I was having a glass of water with it in every morning but it didn’t help
I don’t think I need more salt to be honest. I salt all my food and I drink sole water now. Olive oil, yes I could increase that as I use other oils now (avocado and macadamia are my main oils i use)
