21 here!
There was a fill in question about what foods were missing. Duh… fat.
You clearly eat a poor diet: take the test!
Needs Work (29 out of 73)
Apparently it does need work compared to some of you.
But I admitted to eating peanut butter sometimes and was probably overly generous with some of the dairy questions re: yoghurt and cottage cheese.
I was really perplexed by the “in season” aspect of the veggies and fruits questions.
HOW MANY TIMES A WEEK DO YOU USUALLY EAT A SERVING OF THESE FRUITS WHEN THEY ARE IN SEASON?
One serving can be one medium piece, two small pieces, one cup of canned fruit or one heaped tablespoon of dried fruit.
Since when does canned or dried fruit have a season? And am I supposed to not count them if I eat mangos out of season? I don’t eat any fruit, so it didn’t affect my answers, but it was poorly worded.
Added grain-free, low carb bread and baked goods, other berries (not grapes), avocados, cream, bacon and sausages to the “what else do you eat” question. Forgot about liver.
I’m also confused as to how I didn’t get a better score on meat and protein:
Excellent (5 out of 7)
Why not a 7? I said I ate nearly every meat except the casseroles up to 4x per week! There were at least 5 or 6 items and that’s 20 servings of protein! Not to mention dairy, eggs, and some nuts that were in the other questions.
I only got a 4 out of 11 on dairy though. I eat cheese practically every day, but I don’t drink milk or sugary smoothies or eat ice cream though, so clearly that’s bad.
I failed condiments and it told me that yeast is a good source of vitamin B. Yeah, well, so is steak.
13 out of 73.
To be fair, I do need to be better about making sure I get my daily recommended amount of vegemite in my diet.
I am not quite sure how you can get 2!! Surely you must get some points for water and meats?

Meat and water, yep. I am pretty sure I said no to eggs and dairy and obviously every plant food, sauce, spice, you name it.
That’s because they know every Australian always lies about their alcohol intake. Young people always say they drink more than they really do, and older people always say they drink much less than they really do. Nobody tells the truth.

My understanding is that a few months ago there was a change in leadership and policy, specifically around food industry sponsorship. I think they worked out that being sponsored by Nestle wasn’t such a good look, and might just lead to some conflicts of interest! Took them a long time to realise this.
They now do not accept food industry sponsorship (well, openly anyway). One can only hope that the new broom might also get to grips with the other stupidities they laud over.
