A while ago, someone mentioned that Carl Frsnklin was going to do the Audible for Dr. Berrys book? Is this true & when might the Audible version be available? Thanks!!

Just heard Dr Berry saying he didn’t want to do the Audible because he has attention deficit disorder & reading his own work back would like torture :slightly_smiling_face:

I just listened to the 2KD podcast with him today! He’s my people, with that southern draw and using scientific terminology like “just stupid”. He calls SAD the Stupid American Diet.

I found his book a very easy read…and I don’t particularly like to read. I would totally listen to an audible version read by him just for the accent alone.

TBH, I bet I probably don’t run out these days, because I’m habituated into thinking that I have, so I just reply and don’t even check :slight_smile:

Chiming in because no one has answered OPs question. Carl had announced he was doing the audio version of the book and haven’t heard anything since. Does anyone else have an update? I was waiting but gave up and ordered a print copy. I would much rather have an audio copy.

I actually met him this past weekend. Very engaging speaker, love his no-nonsense approach. I asked him a quick question about cancer research and the ketogenic diet. Figured he’d have access to research that I wouldn’t. The gist of it, though, he said “You’re going to lose her no matter what, so just hug her and love her.” Not his exact words, but how cool is that? No false hopes, no “doc platitudes,” just sort of yeah, it sucks, but with her type of cancer (and stage)…just love her.

I have it on Kindle, and I’m from the South. Just call me up and I’ll read it to you, but there might be a bit more snark and cynicism coming from me. He’s way more upbeat and happy during interviews than I read into his book voice!

Me too…I remember hearing them say Carl was to do the Audible…then crickets…sitting down to “read” isn’t my thing. I audible everything possible. Can’t wait to listen to the Longevity solution by Dr. Jason Fung next…oh & off topic Rachel Hollis’ new audible too.

Where did you find it, amazon? Last time I looked I couldn’t find it. I like to read books on my tablet. Great for when I can’t sleep and on the plane.

Oh no, it appears Dr Berry is on a 2nd Edition of the book and I can’t seem to find a page for the Kindle version of the first edition. I guess it’s wait and see for now.

I’m in Australia and I have been looking for this book here for months… Is there some sort of conspiracy going on that is preventing it from coming to this country?
Can’t find it in any format or any search on Amazon Australia or Audible books.

Anyone else having the same issue? Or if you can point me to a copy, that would be great.
