@rforzanti
Thank you, and i agree, we ALL need to hear it ma’am! I hope you have a wonderful day!

@Rclause
I agree that it is a great tracking option, sometimes we can get a wee bit obsessive over it lol i know i do! But i love when my clothes are baggy, to me thats a motivation…and thank you, i didn’t realize i had a style :sunglasses:lol. We all just need to stay positive and smile…smiling takes off an extra 10 pounds…at least that’s what i am telling myself!

I think the weight loss isn’t noticed until the body contours show up. I probably lost 30lbs without it being very obvious. Then I lost a couple more and people thought I lost a lot of weight in a couple weeks. In fact it had been months of losing weight and the losses had slowed by the time it was noticable. Now I’m thinking enough that less of a loss show up more.

@Mcostas

I absolutely agree, it took almost 40 to show up on me, my loss has slowed according to the scale but my clothes do fit a lot better. I feel like some people o ly see the scale slow down and dont realize that the body is reshaping itself. It took me a long time to notice my losses but now im seeing so many little changes, its it’s amazing! I also want to stress the fact that the scale could be slowing down for some due to muscle gain, which is awesome, so just relax :grin: it’s all gonna be :ok_hand:

@LizEllen
Do you mind if I ask a question here? When I’ve posted my daily food some people say that my calories are not enough. Looking at your sample food intake, that looks low for the day too. Is it a matter of only eating when hungry and the calories don’t count? I seem to get averaging around 1000 calories a day (up from 850 or so). I’m just curious about this.
Thanks!

Girl, I don’t know. I ate about 1,200 calories today. I haven’t been tracking closely, but I think I’ve been eating about this much regularly. The scale hasn’t moved for me in two weeks. I think I need to start adding in some fasting or start exercising some.

Victory of the day was that I was at a work thing all day that included almost nothing I could eat. Muffins and scones for breakfast, no. Fruit and granola bars for snack, no. Baked potato bar and chili for lunch, no. Cake for dessert, no. Yogurt and more fruit for afternoon snack, no. I survived on the toppings for the potato (I say in jest – I should have just fasted and called it good.) My point is, I’m OK avoiding these pitfalls; just a little bummed the scale has been stuck. I think it’s time to button down.
