White Castle

dammit, dammit ,dammit!! After 30+ years of waiting and endless emails and tweets White Castle finally is coming to Phoenix. And I can’t eat there :confounded:

You’re not gonna miss much…

Oh I love White Castle. That is one of the few places where I would cheat.

It looks like one bun has 11 net carbs. You could get two of them with several extra patties with cheese and not have any other carbs for the day. I guess it’s how much it’s “worth” having to you. We luckily don’t have them here in Florida.

(Raj Seth) #5

Why not? Can’t you peel the buns off? Or maybe they can give you a 10 high stack of sliders, no buns. Jut ask…

A White Castle without the buns is like a day without sunshine. Or vim without vigor or crimson without clover. They belong together.

Unfortunately, in a previous life, I could down a dozen. And still want more. Mainly because I knew it might be a year or more before I would ever be back so I gorged. Same with Krystal’s. Which they used to have in Orlando.
Maybe with my new way of eating I could only handle a couple.

I totally understand. Yes we have Krystal here in Tampa…it was the go to drive through on the way home from the clubs back in the day. I haven’t been there in years. I used to buy the frozen White Castle microwave them. LUCKILY I have had Gastric Bypass surgery and can only eat a couple at a time…thank goodness!

Love White Castle! Luckily there’s not one within 300 miles of me. I try not to even glance at the White Castle frozen burgers at the grocery.
It would be a slippery slope for me. If I’d go bunless with around 10 of the burgers with pepper jack cheese, that would be great, but jeez those cheese fries🤤.

I think they’re always better in your memory. As an adult, they’ve never lived up to my childhood memory of them.

(Empress of the Unexpected) #11

Only remember them from childhood! But damn, they were good.
