Okotoks, Alberta, Canada. But born and raised in NE England.
Where y’all all from?
Grew up in Tennessee but have been in Arkansas now for longer than I lived in TN.
Small island on Canada’s west coast. Originally from southern Ontario.
I’ve lived so many places. Not an army brat, just get run out of town a lot.
I hate what the movies do to the Cajun culture of Louisiana as well as the Cajun language. But it’s like that with Hollywood and just about all colorful parts of the US. They exaggerate.
And as far as Aussie movies go, I seek them out. Little gems to me like Rabbit Proof Fence, Gallipoli, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Jasper Jones are well worth viewing again.
And need I mention all the star-power talent Australia has pumped into entertainment.
(By the way, I am partial to Aussies after having fought along side them in Vietnam.)
Originally from southern Ontario (Mt. Forest) but ended up in Tokyo for the past 25 years.
Just west of Richmond, VA, USA in an area known as Short Pump.
I live somewhere between Ketosis and dilerium…oh, where do I reside? The Mitten State. Go Blue!
Love your kind words, but when I saw that you are a Vietnam Vet I just wanted to cry. Our boys were treated so badly by their own Aussies when they came back. I have heard some sad and unforgiveable stories…yet like you these boys risked their lives for us. I salute you and our boys with a big thank you and a hug…
Born and raised in the Grand Rapids, Michigan USA area for the first 35 years of my life. Met a woman on the internet playing a video game (Everquest) and moved to be with her in the Seattle, Washington USA area 15 years ago.
Southern Missouri. My dad used to say we are in the Foothills of the Ozarks. In other words, bumps for hills.
