Where does all the fat go that we eat on keto?

(bulkbiker) #21

No indeed but depending on what you hope to achieve then regular chicken breast (or even better than that chicken thighs) would have been a better choice as well as high meat content sausages.

That’s why I joined this forum mark. Guidance and advice. I’m accountable absolutely so I take your point. I’m hoping to get down to a healthy weight real soon. Feels great to have already shed over a stone. I’ve also become incredibly aware of how much sugar I used to consume. Bonkers really. It all seemed so normal until I had an ultrasound on my liver and they said it was fatty. I dont drink alcohol and never have. It’s all new to me but learning all the time. Thanks

Excellent changes and definitely a massive step in the right direction. Tweaking needed yes, but gradual improvements will make it easier to stick to.

Definitely lose anything breaded and see if you can find sausages with less carbage added, or even make your own “skinless sausages” using pork mince, herbs / spices.

As others have said you’re best to stay away from anything with breading. You want to keep your daily carbohydrates under 20 grams.

I’m assuming from you name that you are male so I think you are probably eating far too little. Your calories would be too light even for nearly all women on keto. Increase your fats a fair bit. Maybe to 110 grams, but at least 100 grams. And your protein is light too. You can easily take it up to 75 grams, but at the very least get it above 50 grams per day. Do that while reducing your carbs and you’ll be more satisfied and losing weight.

I used to use marg but no longer do I touch it. Butter is so much better in every way

(Ray) #31

Thanks for the advice. Sounds not too tricky at all. Will try it and see what happens

Please tell me you are joking. TBH you need to do a lot more reading, watch some video links etc.

Try this for starters.
