When we can’t see our own progress

Some of you know, I’ve been the worst keto’er… not with sticking to it but with my attitude and expectations. 7 weeks now and last time I checked my weight was July 18th I had lost 4 pounds. This morning I went to the health food store and the lady who works there asked me what I was doing differently which kinda threw me off. She told me my skin looked amazing and that I had a general look of wellness. I didn’t tell her I was doing keto lol… told her that I’m turning 50 next year and trying to take better care of myself. She was in total disbelief saying I looked at least 20 years younger… it was hilarious and sweet and made my day. Looking forward to the 18th and my monthly weigh in, fingers crossed I lost another 4 pounds

I’ve lost about the same as you in the same amount of time. I weigh daily only because I don’t trust myself to regain it all back. No matter what the scale says, you know your body is doing something great! WTG!

Aw shucks, thanks so much

Those are the best NSV’s, when you see someone you haven’t seen for awhile! Great job!

Thanks, Diane. While I haven’t lost any inches I feel like something… something is changing… weird

I think a lot happens internally that we don’t see, and it then projects to a better outlook and improved appearance that others notice.

My fat belly? It’s changing, sounds strange but it’s definitely changing.

Ha ha. Mine too! It’s getting smaller!
