What's wrong with this picture?

There is an old English nursery rhyme that goes:

Jack Sprat could eat no fat.
His wife could eat no lean.
And so betwixt the both of them
They licked the platter clean.

This is the image associated with it:

At least the carnivorous cat is depicted accurately.

You know, it’s funny but I remember back when I was in kindergarten (1969-1970) the Electric Company did a take on this rhyme insinuating that you’d be fat if you ate any fat. We were shown that and encouraged (if I remember correctly) not to eat fat in school, and I think it really stuck with me. That and the Ancel Keys way of eating (I grew up in Minnesota) was really encouraged, and these things really affected me.

It wasn’t until the mid 90’s that I read the Atkins book and began my low carb journey. I’m very happy I did.
