Hi All,
I came across this as a recommendation of a food high in MCT (medium chain triglycerides):
Since I do no eat bread, what would you smear it on? And somethings that I do not use butter on?
Many thanks,

Ha, I would probably just eat some with a spoon like I do for peanut butter.
Mix it in with the peanut butter, even better! I do that with coconut oil, gives it a lovely flavour…
I have used it in cooking some south asian dishes. Also eating it off the spoon works well. I was once able to find it in little single serve pouches that I kept in my bag for those times that I needed a little something when out.
I can imagine it eating alone - or on my bread replacement, my beloved sponge cake (100% egg, a bit softer than bread, at least my quite dense one that my SO prefers but I still can spread things on it).
As it’s sweet, all savory options would be out for me.
I probably could make sweet fat bombs (not my style but did it once or twice in my life…) with it, paired with chocolate.
I love using coconut butter in a bunch of different ways! First off, it’s amazing on toast. Just spread it on warm toast for a creamy, slightly sweet kick. It’s also great in smoothies—adds a rich texture and a hint of coconut flavor. If you’re into baking, you can swap it out for regular butter in recipes for cookies or muffins; it makes them extra moist and gives them a subtle tropical vibe. I also like to mix it into my protein shakes, especially when I use goat whey protein, to give it a smooth and creamy texture. And don’t forget about using it as a body moisturizer—works wonders for dry skin!
