The problem with artificial sweeteners is that they can cause an insulin response. It is best to avoid sweeteners especially on a fast.
If you are not fat adapted be careful after a carb heavy day of fasting the next day or two because you might suffer the ills of low blood sugar. Just pay attention to how you feel and if you donât feel well eat. You can always wait a week and restart your fast.
Time is on your side. People can get impatient with any way of eating, or fasting but after 65 years Iâm in life for the long haul.
