What Size?

About 6 months ago (before keto) I started getting 4xt T-Shirts with a few 5xw. I basically wear one all the time and put whatever else I am going to wear over the top.

Yesterday when I was put a fresh one on I realized it didn’t have a pocket. That is unusual because most of them do and it prompted me to check the size to make sure it was the right type. I discovered that that partuculat shirt it is 3x. So, in a moment of confusion (like, what size to I wear anyway) I looked at the one I had been wearing the previous day and it was 3x as well.

Bottom line, I had been wearing a 3x shirt thinking it was 4xt and never noticed until I went to get the next one.

I don’t even know. The shirts that I generally wear, the Carhart pocket tee, have a good bit of variation between different colors of what are supposed to be the same shirt. But I have noticed that the ones that used to be about the right size are now a bit like wearing a pup tent while the ones that used to be way too tight now fit about like a person would think they should. I think in general, it’s gone from a 2X to a XLarge but I could probably look at just Large before too much longer. It kinda sneaks up on a person while they’re paying attention to other stuff.

Congrats on the shrinkage (in all the right places).

Used to be a women’s 2x,3x,22 last March. Now a size 10, med…sometimes even a small…unbelievable.

@Jacob4Jesus Keep up the good work!

I find that all my shirts that were skin tight, now hang a bit loose, and my 3XL shirts hang like tents. I may have to start unloading the biggest of them, but I really do like loose shirts. (Not so much if you leave out the ‘r’, as I almost did, lol!)

The most fun, though, in a weird way, is the risk of losing my trousers in public. Well, “satisfying” perhaps, more than “fun.” Anyway, I was reasonably okay with the thought until my underpants started falling down, too! Guess another trip to Goodwill and the Dollar Store is in the cards! :bacon: :bacon:

LOL!!

Illustrates the value of the “Superband Wasteband!”

Thanks for the chuckle, my friend!

Now I have to admit to taking up my underwear!

Oh my! Mine still fit right now. But I’m pretty sure they won’t sometime soon!

I know what I want for Christmas!

I worked for a local copier company here in Fayetteville, NC. We had a choice to where shirt with tie, or company shirt. A button up shirt that could be worn with a tie, but we were allowed to go without tie. To me, a no brained. Being the safety conscious guy that I am, I know loose clothing like a tie is asking for it. I actually had a neck tie go into a paper shredder. Yes, laugh, cuz people getting strangled by machines is hi-larious.:sunglasses:

So the company shirts ran kinda short. A shirt of the right size (large) wouldn’t stay tucked in. So I had to get some XLs. Within a year those XLs were a bit tight, so upped to the XXLs which were like tents, and made me look like I was wearing my dads clothes😆.

I no longer work there, but still have the shirts. The oldest ones, the large ones, are too big for me now!:cowboy_hat_face: the other shirts I just use as nightshirts, or gardening shirts.
