What is your "go to " keto meal? One you could eat every day

#1

Mine is simple. I plug in the sous vide machine, kick it on to 129 and take a thick ribeye out of the freezer (already sealed of course). Toss it in and come back in three hours. Dry it off, sear it up on cast iron and eat half of it. The rest goes with scrambled eggs the next am.

At least once a week but I could do it almost every day.

Ground Beef
4 days straight as of todayšŸ™‚

Eggs
I can eat every day easily

#3

Any form of beef (steak, ground, chuck), eggs with butter and a mixed-greens salad with EVOO.

2 or 3 egg omelette with cheese, olives, salami or pastrami, tomato and something green - kale, spinach or basil - and a bit of chilli, cooked in lots of butter with browned butter over it. So good.

Keto burrito bowl.

1 lb cooked ground beef w/ seasoning
Sour cream
Salsa

I make a big batch on Sunday and eat it for lunch during the week at work. So I guess I do eat it every day. I haven’t gotten bored of it - I’m happy to eat it every time I do!

Lately I’ve been trying out adding ground liver in the original mix and fresh egg when i reheat it :ok_hand:

Ground beef on a bed of lettuce with cheese and sour cream on top. It’s like tacos without the shell.

Fasting

(Hyperbole- best thing in the universe!) #8

Taco bowl (especially if I can get my hands on some ground beef, but chicken is good too,) or bacon and cabbage… That sounds like the perfect TMAD day.

That would be and is my breakfast. 1 strip of bacon, 1 sausage patty, recycle grease (AKA leave in pan) add butter, pour in 2 eggs mixed with heavy whipping cream, add sharp cheddar cheese and scramble. And my favorite part…enjoy. This happens daily

I eat 1lb of 73/27 ground beef every single day and have done so for many, many months. It has 1400 calories, 124g fat, 68 protein. Perfect keto fuel. I usually just add a fair dose of salt, sometimes I add pepper if I’m feeling particularly decadent. :yum:

I try to buy in 10lb quantities so that it costs $2.15/lb. I only eat 5 days a week, so I could live pretty happily on about $11/week. I usually add in some herring, eggs and cheese on feasting days to boost my calories though.

Gaining weight on keto might be expensive, but losing weight on keto is pretty damn cheap!

Am I the only one who has no true one keto meal? I eat differently pretty much every week. This week, for my first meal of the day, I’m having flat iron steak with eggs cooked in the micro with hard whites and soft yolks, Stilton blue cheese (high in K2), black and green olives (in brine, not PUFAs), salt, high stearic acid fat. Dinner is whatever my wife makes. Next week, I’ll have something completely different, but it won’t be chicken (high in PUFAs) or fatty pork (lean pork is OK) due to PUFAs. So, no bacon. For lunch anyway. My wife might make these, though, and I’ll eat them if she does.

Grilled Salmon+ Boiled Eggs + Avocado + Stewed Kale :yum:

Last nights steak on a romaine leaf with avocado, mayo, cheese and rolled up ain’t too bad either. Also goes well with spicy pork rinds.

Nah, I’m the same, I don’t really have a set meal either. I tend to buy the same type of food all the time but I like having variety in my day-to-day eating, so even when ingredients are identical, the meals will differ a lot. For instance, eggs + cauliflower = cauliflower gratin OR cauliflower omelette OR sunny side-up eggs with sautĆ©ed cauliflower on the side OR cold cauliflower salad with hard boiled eggs, etc. I easily get bored otherwise.

Bacon I could eat it every day.

(Marianne) #16

Pork steaks or boneless pork ribs, both pan seared and supplemented with bacon grease.

#17

We eat this breakfast almost every day (we never tire of it) :
2 strips of bacon
2 to 3 eggs
Coffee with heavy cream & liquid stevia
Homemade guacamole:
Roughly smashed avocado (with fork tines)
lime juice
salsa verde (with minced serrano in it)
minced onion
minced cilantro
minced garlic (or garlic powder if lazy)
salt

I love a cobb salad with ranch or blue cheese. Last night, we had salmon with pesto and veggies. When I have leftover meat, I like to make a curry soup with coconut milk and some veggies. Sometimes, I add peanut butter for a panang. For lunch today, I had a patty melt with swiss cheese and caramelized onions, no bun, extra pickles and mayo, and a small ceasar (no croutons). I like to make lasagna without noodles. Hard to beat steak. Or pork steak. I like to spiralize zuccinni and toss in a lemon cream sauce and serve with blackened shrimp. I don’t have one meal. I like all the meals.
