Thought it might be fun to share the typical items you buy on our regular grocery visits! Helpful for those who are new to this WOE.

For me, every time I go to the store off the top of my head I will without a doubt buy eggs, avocado, various nuts, bacon, kerrygold, coconut oil, and bottled cold brew coffee (I am lazy).

(Guardian of the bacon) #5

Well I forgot coconut oil but we buy the big tubs at sams club once every few months.

In addition to pretty much everything listed above, I always like to keep tuna and pork rinds on hand. Sometimes I just get tired of the usual stuff and get a tuna salad craving, and pork rinds are the perfect crunch to go along with it.

Also frozen hamburger patties. Quick and easy dinner.

Ooh, and bacon jerky!

Unsalted or Salted Kerry Gold in your BPC? I can’t seem to locate any unsalted Kerry Gold, but in my mind I think I’d like it better.

This month it is Bacon, buttter and brie, That is all

(Terri) #15

I used to only use unsalted in my BPC, but now I prefer salted (and if I use unsalted, I actually add a pinch of salt to it anyways!).

#16

Can’t forget spam, at least I think it’s keto

(Julie Pegler) #17

salted takes the bitterness out of coffee so then you don’t need any sweetener. Do you have a Kroger or Publix near you? They usually have both.

(Christine J) #18

Cheese
Butter
Frozen raw 100% beef patties
Frozen broccoli
Bacon
Nuts
La Croix
Brussels
Coffee.
Heavy cream

I love how basic the shopping list becomes. Sometimes it’s just flat out boring, but I rarely forget stuff

#19

What type/brand of jerky do you buy? So much of the Jerky I find is packed with sugar.

(Julie Pegler) #20

We try to keep salami and cream cheese, HWC, butter, eggs and bacon, ground beef in bulk. We also have pork rind nachos once a week, we love the white queso, avocadoes, getting sick of cauliflower and broccoli going to have to branch out and get some other veggies
