What does your bone broth look like?

Hi all.

I’ve made my own stock for years but it’s never been what I’d call bone broth. I finally got some gelatin in my batch from yesterday. Pretty sure it was the pound of chicken feet combined with pressure cooker. Turned out really flavorful and this morning… Chicken Jelly! Yay! How does yours come out? Have a great keto day!

Yes. Gelatinous. Means you got plenty bone goodness out of the bones. Just heat and eat and it will liquify

That’s how mine comes out as well. I pressure cook bones with feet too.

There is something wildly satisfying about opening the jar in the morning to find jelly

I’ve been heating and sipping all morning as I’ve had a few issues I think were salt related. It’s delicious. Crazy how much flavor got imparted in such a relatively short time with the pressure cooker.

Do you add apple cider vinegar to the pot? I do 2-3 tbls depending on how much I am making.

I do indeed. This is the first time I have tried adding the chicken feet. I am definitely going to do that from now on.
