What do u add to ur water?

Soda is hell on teeth, too! Coffee, smoking, dip, soda, acidic beverages…
I’m not saying don’t drink any/all the above, but don’t sip on them
throughout the day. Like I said; if you’re going to drink them, drink it
and be done. The only thing not damaging for your teeth to sip on all day
is water. That’s all I’m saying. I’m not saying water with lemon is worse
or whatever… but the whole ‘those guys are doing it’ argument won’t save
your enamel. Seriously - as any dentist or oral hygienist about sipping on
acidic beverages. I’m not saying anything revolutionary. I just never knew
so many people did it regularly - thus my admonishment lol. For real, I
suppose I came off a bit severe, but I only mean to help, and there was no
one suggesting that lemon water may not be the best thing for you.

Respectfully,
Jason LeFebvre

Heh…all good. As with all things - best in moderation.
When I see people saying they avoid drinking it because they couldn’t get straws…they’re getting the wrong information.

I drink ACV in my sparkling non-calorie, carb-free orange carbonated spring water all day, for years. Not a single tooth enamel conversation with my dentist, who I see 2x a year for all those years. Just sayin

I’ve used lemon juice in 3 days worth of drinking plus lemon lime but no no no to acv lol

It could be damaging depending on the type of water you’re drinking, deposits in tap water could cause some damage for example.

Lots of different beverages can be harmful:

I don’t sip.I don’t drink pop obviously because of keto .I don’t smoke or dip I don’t even drink booze.I like my tea.but when I have hot beverage’s I want to drink it hot not sip n get cold…blech lolol

So I’ve just discovered infused water made in the instant pot…it makes a sort of concentrated flavoured water that you can add cold, hot or soda water to. It’s not strong but it’s like adding a bit of lemon…takes the edge off of straight water. Try it out if you have a pressure cooker!

I’ve made strawberry-lemon, raspberry-mint, and lemon-ginger.

I believe you can also infuse water in a whipping siphon… I think you could also carbonate your creation in the siphon, if you so desired.

Interesting!!! Another toy for my wish list! /rubs hands together gleefully

Unless you have a lot of use (and there are a lot of interesting uses for it), I’d put it pretty low on the gadgets to own list. But it does a lot of fun stupid party tricks, and makes incredible whipped cream.

Sadly can’t do dairy…can you whip coconut milk?

I think that’s one of those things if someone offered me one I wouldn’t say no…but wouldn’t go out of my way to buy it.

I drink a lot of seltzer water, with and without flavor. It takes some getting used to because the fizz makes you think you’re about to taste something soda-sweet. But I’m glad I made myself get used to it…on keto you get to really taste the flavor of it.

I’ve used Mio Energy (for the caffeine), but the sweeteners in it aren’t the greatest. But I lost steadily for 6 months while drinking it. It makes me ravenously hungry when I’m fasting so I’ve cut that out recently.

Unsweetened iced tea is another great option. But lemon gives me heartburn too after too much so I can’t do the lemon every time.

I noticed you said you don’t like the sodium flavor from the soda stream machine…there’s certain seltzer brands that taste more sodium-y than others. I really like the Schweppes brand, dasani, bubbly, and other ones that don’t have that taste.

Lemon and sea salt. Or just the salt.

(Lisa marie t) #56

We have jet stream carbonates water

Yeah, I bet you could whip coconut cream. Probably not the milk.

I have a 5# CO2 tank set-up that I used to use to make soda water. Used to drink about two litres a day, but lost interest after going keto. Weird.
