Aww youre awesome. I love that. So much larve for the animals!!!
What did you take a photo of on your walk today? (feat. CHUNK)
The hens are recent rescues from battery cages, they’re in for care and rehoming - I’ll be adopting some soon.
Its so heartbreaking how people treat animals badly. I think there’s a special place in hell for people who abuse animals. I called the ASPCA (non-kill shelter) on my own grandmother for poor treatment of her dog. It caused a family rift and i didnt care. You cant be treating aninals that way.
Thanks for volunteering your time to help. Im glad theres people like you to help make up for assholes that abuse.
There are studies that say that children that abuse animals are very likely to become disfuncial in society and are the worst case psychopaths.
I’ve never understood animal abuse. I have a relative that moved and stole a dog that was tied up all day and night every day regardless of the weather by a neighbor. I don’t condone stealing but that dog was loyal to her and her husband until she died at a very old age.
Not a long walk but on a small walk to my local dollar store, I came across the magazines that are placed right in the doorway as you enter!
I so wish I could get rid of the doctor oz magazine! This is Momo. Can you see the love in her eyes? She is my DIL’s dog. She kept seeing this flea-infested, dehydrated on a chain looking so pitiful dog every time she drove by.
She finally tracked down the “owners” and they didn’t want her and were glad to give her to my DIL. She got her wormed, de-fleaed, a vet visit and took her in.
I would take her in a heartbeat if she couldn’t keep her for any reason. She is a sweetheart, so loving, so gentle with her kids, protective and appreciative. Such a good girl!
Here she is praying for bacon that my son was frying in the kitchen posted this before but it always makes me smile.
Tell your DIL that she is an amazing person for saving such a beautiful animal and giving her a second chance to be a loving companion! So happy when I hear these stories of animals being saved and given the love they deserve!
Look at those frog legs!! Sooo cute. I always call them frog legs when they spread em out behind like that lol
It was 70+ degrees in Seattle yesterday so we went to the beach ♀:sunny:
Headed back now … it’s about 75
Chunk with one of his many friends (she doesn’t live with us), and we have just been feeding the wild pigeons with the birds at Chunk’s feet with no fear of no him at all. He’s going to love it when I adopt my rescue hens next month
