What did you take a photo of on your walk today? (feat. CHUNK)

#865

Wow! :racehorse:

(Ellen) #866

Beautiful!

(Diane) #867

Love how the snow pluming up at the horses feet adds movement to the photo!

Intelligence is knowing how to use a camera.

Wisdom is knowing when not to use one.

#869

Somehow made it out alive.

(less is more, more or less) #870

No kidding. They have quite a “temper.”

(Allie) #871

They’re hand tame with me and let me stroke them as I’ve been looking after them since they hatched, the ones here that is, clearly not the exact birds in the pics.

(Karen) #872

Another Castle photo

60* yesterday and dry. Today 17* and a foot of snow. School canceled.

(New Keto Friend) #873

Ooh… Forgot to take a picture of the snow. We have snow now in the Netherlands and I walked a lot with our beagle in it. We loved it!

(Karen) #874

Snow… light and fluffy. Another foot, still coming

Piled up outside the door, can’t get the perspective righr

(Ellen) #875

Is that your car under all that snow on the right?

(Karen) #876

Good Thing we’re not going anywhere.
:joy::rofl::joy:

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #877

We only got an inch or two of snow from “THE STORM” (lol), but it’s been followed by a cold snap. It’s 9°F/-13°C here today, and the cold killed my car battery. The automobile association had to come and replace it.

BRR! :cold_face::snowflake::cold_face::snowflake::cold_face::snowflake:

#878

This is so pretty. I miss a fresh snowfall, but not shoveling it (or the cold weather). We hardly ever get snow here in Arizona.

(Ellen) #879

Ye gods! The last time we had snow here I think it got to maybe an inch & half and we got sent home early, and a lot of public transport stopped. Yes, I’m well aware us Brits are absolutely piggin useless with any weather other than grey & drizzly.

(Ellen) #880

We had snow! This is the result of the last hour…

Yep, that’s just wet paving stones.

(Ellen) #881

Where I am we had -5c yesterday morning, seems positively tropical now!

(Eric - The patient needs to be patient!) #882

This morning we were -10C or 14F - typical for this time of year is -1C or 30F

(less is more, more or less) #883

You youngin’s may not see this as a big deal, but breaking 6 miles on a treadmill in an hour makes me happy.

Don’t let the calories count fool you. There’s a thread for that.

May I do 6 miles in under one hour in real life, soon.

(Running from stupidity) #884

That photo looks like you did just that.
