That’s a great idea!
Even I can do that.
I love feta and eggs. I make stuffed peppers using a mixture of blended eggs and sheep’s milk feta. It’s so good! I may try adding some dill next time.
I made a keto snack. Sort of fat bomb. I mixed Coco, coconut butter, and sweetener. And then I put it in a Ziploc bag at the bottom, and froze it. It came out rather unfortunate looking but now that I’ve cut it in little cubes it looks much better
Just strawberries, and peanuts too!
Enjoy the pepperoni chips…they’re so yummy and crunchy!!
I’ve tried them with sliced chorizo too and they work quite nicely…you don’t need to bake them as long though I’ve found!
… Nice … As much as I love Pepperoni, I have yet to try this. But did think about it a couple times, as well as trying it with some Hard Salami. Something else I enjoy. But I sure will be doing just this in April, when my Diary restriction month is over!
I’m sorry for you Dave if the “dietary restriction” turns out to be the best thing for you.
Well, I’m just half way through the month, but can’t say I’ve seen much in the way of benefits so far? So this may just be for the month of March, unless the next two weeks shows me something different. … I was hoping it might help with inflammation and sinus issues, but so far, it hasn’t that I’m aware of. And I do so enjoy Cheese, Butter, etc. … If anything, I think I may cut it back some, but I was never planning to abstain from Dairy permanently. - But if there’s no difference at all, watch out daily isle!
Regular milk used to get psoriasis going for me. When I cut that out cheese didn’t seem to bother me (fermented?).
I did dairy free (I think) November hoping for the same type of results @Digital_Dave but nothing changed for me either. I’ll just have to accept that choosing to share my life with so many cats when I have an allergy to cats just isn’t good for me… they’re going nowhere
Uh-oh, she’s back! I’ve been going a little crazy with other stuff and neglected my keto support staff (y’all!). I need to get back into some serious keto and fasting for weight loss, so you’ll be seeing more of me again. Looking forward to the food porn! Herewith, my keto pot roast. Chuck roast, radishes, & baby carrots, pressure cooked, gravy from the broth and seasonings on the roast, plus a little konjac powder & cream. Also, a side of celery dipped in Chart House Blue Cheese Dressing.
When I was doing my dairy free stint (which didn’t last long!) I made a guacamole to dunk the chips in? Not sure if you’re an avocado lover or not, but that was nice
Not really. I did just re-start trying them, but only in Salad’s. Which so far hasn’t been bad. So I may give guacamole a shot. … But only have 2 weeks left for the Dairy Experiment, so April will be here soon.
On a side note, I just got back from a Crab run finally! … I ran out of crab (both Dungeness and Snow) a little before Christmas and with my Hospital stint & all the other issues that seem to keep piling up, I finally got to place an order. … Some of these guys will be making their debut tonight.
Hmm seems new phone takes higher resolution pics and I can’t upload a 5mb photo, but tonight was beef stir fry, not sure why but seem to be making them hotter each time (not in a hot rather than flavour way just flavour & hotter).
Oooh these look awesome!! Enjoy! I’ve not had crab in ages!!!
I know what you mean about the avocado…it took me a good while to get my head around it too!
Another tip for the pepperoni chips is to sprinkle them with salt before you bake…it’s fun to lick all the oil and salt off the parchment paper when they’re done!
Dinner tonight was a bacon wrapped chicken breast, roasted veggies, all drizzled with loads of garlic ghee…
Followed by a good few squares of this lovely stuff! I still managed to finish the day with super low carbs! Woohoo!!
