Predating the keto craze from 1987 some Pauling tips: “Eat what you like in moderation, but avoid sugar. Meat and eggs are good food.” While he personally followed and advocated a low protein diet which resolved his kidney disease he acknowledged and discussed with respect Vilhjalmur Stefansson’s efforts to show an all meat diet can be healthful. He also quotes John Yudkin and mentions battles with Frederick Stare and Ancel Keys.

Good topic in times of self isolation due to Corona.
I am reading Anna Karenina byTolstoy and it is getting better and better. A nice thick book to read for these times we have to stay at home now.

I went to Father Quido Sarducci’s Five Minute University, and that’s the book we used.

No, none of that is true.

It sounds like a fun read. And if you’re not familiar with that comedy skit from the '70s, it’s worth looking up. I think this is a good summary.

I’m confused, was your reply meant for me?

Yeah. Sorry for mix up.

It does look like a fun read, especially considering how much that permeates the culture.

It’s sensational, very entertaining as I love epic mythic stories. Am only halfway through still. have mostly stopped reading fiction due to heavy graduate school reqs and reading periodicals and the newspaper I just resubscribed to. Fortunately the book is designed with many very short chapters, so one can dip in and read a couple of paragraphs at a time pretty easily. :sparkling_heart:
