Went over my allowed fats today

Just had dinner but forgot to log my snack today. I stayed under what I’m allowed for protein and carbs but Im over on my fats by 18g. I have been following the formula strictly for the past 3 weeks. I hope I didn’t mess anything up.

Fat is not a limit. Maintain carbs, moderate protein, fat to satiety.

Thanks Ron! Almost 3 weeks in and down 22lb. Don’t wanna stop this roll I am on!

Fats , although caloric, trigger very little insulin response.

Don’t be discouraged if things do slow down though, it is part of the adaption process. You are currently in the phase where your glycogen stores have been depleted and you don’t have a lot for the body to get rid of right now. When you become adapted the body will start using your stored fat for fuel and you will again start losing, but the limbo state is frustrating and what you see a lot of people starting threads about or just quitting all together. Stay strong as it is worth it.:muscle:

Im in it for good. I don’t even miss carbs anymore. I wont quit as I am seeing the results that are inherent with the diet. Limbo might suck but I have the bigger picture in mind!

Forget it, not important. It would be good if you could get to a point of not needing the snack in the first place though.

As you get less rotund, the “roll” may get bumpier :joy:
