Weights - Great Results When Less Time Available or Wanted

(Jamie Hayes) #1

Many people invest a lot of time to their strength training routines. I don’t have the time and if I did, I’d try to minimise the time and frequency required to get great results.

And so I go to the gym every Sunday and do a one-set whole-body machine line. It takes about 15 minutes. I’ve been doing the same exercises for about 15 years!

I do have some functional accessories at home and do them for about 5 mins most days, plus do 5 reps of the local park stairs.

This morning I double my workout by adding some cross training (no not crossfit) exercises, and so the total session, including about 6 minutes cool down was 40 minutes. Here’s my heart rate graph.
