Week 2: Just need a little reassurance

50 y/o male, 5’10" 198lbs. I play ice hockey once a week, gym 4x week (weights + cardio). I have bad eating habits and love the taste of food and beer! My last wellness check was a kicker for me: 38" waist.

Started keto on 10/1 and lost 5lbs the first week (water weight). I was exhausted within a couple days. By the start of my 2nd week, my hip joints started to ache and got worse. By about the 9th day, I could not sleep (I’m a light sleeper though). Last night I took an ambien, had to get up at 4am - too much pain. This pain lasted until about 11am. I had a bulletproof coffee and avacado, cheese, ham, mushroom and pepperoni scrambled eggs. Stevia with coffee. I’m following a prepared 14 day keto diet.

At about 11, the pain went away and I had a fairly intense gym workout at noon - 45 min. I got scared I may have bumped myself out of ketosis (if I was even in). Here are my measurements:

10/9 - Between trace 0.5 and small 1.5
10/10 - Moderate 4.0
10/11 - Large 8.0 (a tad higher)
Slimfast test strips

Am I ok? Could the Keto flu be over that quick?
