Weak moment 😔... Talking myself off the edge

Omg DYING to have the chicken pad Thai…but at 64 carbs!!! I can’t…oh well…a second on my lips… Etc etc

Replace the noodles with konjac, make sauce with tahini or sugar free peanut butter. You can make Thai food with low carbs. Not that it won’t take effort. But a nice curry, lots of coconut, not lots of nonsense. Yu-um. Yum.

It’s always an option. I find it helpful to mull it over while eating a half dozen fried eggs whenever I get a craving like that. When I’m done, I look at whatever it is that seemed so important and it doesn’t look quite the same. As a bonus I’m set for choline for a while… :yum:

Just stuff yourself on keto foods and the thought of Pad Thai will make you wanna

Also, skill up your own with some Konjac.

I bet that entire pad Thai entree is barely enough to whet your whissle. Make yourself something truly delicious - chicken in a cream sauce, juicy steak, something you really love. That will help with the cravings.

Maybe ask Rebecca for this recipe and it will do the trick for your cravings =)).

This looks great, is Keto (so no guilt) and I imagine it ends up being a more generous portion, and is more healthy, no processed food additives, and I am betting that it tastes way better too =).

Oooooh, it’s just celery, cauliflower and peppers cooked in a little water, then two teaspoons of yellow Thai curry paste (from a jar, yes it’s got sugar in but I’m only using a smidgen), some diced white fish out of the freezer, a tin of coconut milk and some cilantro…

:yum:

Thank you to everybody that replied …it’s amazing the support on this forum! By the time I started reading all these responses I stopped thinking about the pad thai a long time ago :ok_hand:… Cooked up some cauliflower with cheese topping and chicken strips YUM
