Urine pH

#1

Last week, I read this article by Mark Sisson which was interesting

I decided to do a little self experimentation. My urine pH is consistently 4.5-5. It bumps to 6 with 1-2 tsp baking soda but falls soon after. So I went searching curious if the presence of ketones would affect these results and came across this post which also seems to suggest that maintaining a certain urine pH to be important.

It seems I can’t boost my urine pH. I’m just curious, why? Does it matter?

I read the second one and it says you can change urine pH with something all ketoers already should be doing, managing electrolytes.

Yes, I manage electrolytes and feel fine but it doesn’t affect my urine ph
