Two Pounds to Onederland - Bets on January 1st 2018?

I came off a 72 hour fast and i was 2 pounds from breaking the 200 barrier. I know that I gain some back after a fast, and I don’t want to fast till the New Year. I haven’t weighed in for a few days and I am planning on hopping on the Scale Monday. Monday January 1st will be almost 12 weeks Keto. Will I break it under 200? Stay Tuned!

Update: I had to scale it today. I was at 201.8. Getting closer!

Well, weirdly I gained 10 pounds, weighing myself New year’s day. This was totally unexpected. Not sure how you gain 10 pounds in a day. Another weigh in at the crack of dawn now back to 204. I have been drinking a lot of water so I think I may have been dehydrated. So after 72 hour fast 201, then 211, followed by 204, I really appreciate the Term KCKO!

Congratulations on progress!!

Progress is rarely linear, but that’s OK, so long as it’s still progress. :slight_smile:

I’ve had a good many more carbs than usual over the holiday season, not so much bingeing on really terrible things, but more of having some carb heavier veggies than I typically eat. I didn’t gain a bunch of weight, but I haven’t really lost any either. So I’m kinda looking forward to getting back to a more normal routine and ketoing onward.

I have a little over 30 pounds to go before “Onederland”, which is pretty close to where I’d like to be. (195, approximately, is my goal. It’s still “overweight” according to the charts for my height, but it’s the last weight that I remember really feeling good at. So that’s where I want to go. Will adjust if I get there and feel like it’s not enough.)

I made it TODAY. 199.8! I actually ate quite a bit yesterday, but the scale doesn’t lie :slight_smile:
