If I use one packet a day of a 16 oz beverage mix that has 1g of cane sugar totaling 3g carbs am I going to mess up my Keto…it also has stevia in it? I know keto mean no sugar but am going crazy trying to appease my self with my new restrictions.

I agree with the under 20g being ok but for some people the sugar triggers more hunger panges that drive higher temptations. Keep that in mind OP.
Try a real lemon, its about 2.5g of carb per half I take one almost every day in water. If you go a few weeks without sweets you will loose your sweet tooth.
Hi There! Started Keto in April after I watched The Magic Pill on Netflix. Then sought out every YouTube video I could find. I have lost 65 lbs and my husband has lost 60. My understanding of sugar is that it causes your body to produce insulin. Carbs can be fiber or sugar. Sugar will cause you to produce insulin, I am more sensitive or insulin resistant so one teaspoon of sugar will completely kick me out of ketosis. My idea is to stay in ketosis. Also it keeps me craving other starchy carbs. However if I eat my fat I actually lose my appetite and it becomes easier to do Intermittent fasting.
After quitting almost all beverages including tea and coffee I have nothing left to socialize except lemon juice and herbal tea like cumin.
I have been drinking lemon juice a glass a day with stevia. I have not noticed negative things so far.
What is your reasons for giving up coffee? My coffee is such an important part of my program I can’t even imagine doing that.

I do not know if there is any creature in the milky way love coffee more than me .
but in my case coffee was kicking me out of ketosis by activating the stress hormon.
It is proven science not opinion.
there are 9 credible researches proving the benefits of coffee compared to one credible study indicating the bad impact of coffee on health.
So I really do not care about research I only care about how I feel.
