what is amiss with your heating. Feel for ya being too cold. I am a super hater of cold LOL so I hope ya can warm up sooner than later? Hope your heating is an easy fix for ya maybe?

Your SA has breakfast offered? that kinda surprised me. I don’t believe ours here does that? very cool

Hey on the pics, every time I see those colorful blue and daisy plates I know it is Karen posting

Jigsaws? You mean puzzles? I read ya bought a jigsaw table thinking, hmm, and I am thinking jigsaw, also called scroll saw and they make tables to make more intricate work on construction and then I thought, wait, she is talking puzzles here! K I love reading how you write your stuff!!

@Azi from what I saw it is off but ya know I will double check.
OK AZI I hear ya and got this off their site: Weekly Ad (Valid: 12/14/2022 - 12/24/2022)

it is $5.79/lb here, got ya beat in my location LOL
YES THERE IS A SANTA and yes I will absolutely be going soon to grab a few. I appreciate you saying check again to me cause from what others said I asked I ‘missed it but’ I didn’t. Will call meat dept before I hti the road to go since longer drive to be sure there are ‘a good bit of them’ available to buy…yup, time for a chat with their meat dept.
thanks!!

@Naghite
breakfast of champions! Hope it is a ‘good busy’ and not an icky busy for ya

---------------fingers cold just typing. Brrrr. gray rainy day and cold. OK Calgon must take me away

Defrosting a 1.3 lb. Tbone steak. first meal.
got chicken breasts to use. not sure. alfredo sauce I didn’t make the other day for it or just pan fry in butter or ? I don’t know…after the steak what goes down with that chicken will just happen

I need to watch defrosting too much too fast. Sometimes I get hit with just tons of meat around ya know. Cause my appetite can flip from I know I will wanna eat more to ‘not hungry’ and then I am fighting to be sure to never waste meat I wanna use. Oh yea bad issue to have right?

Brrr, onward into the day.

ANYONE DOING ANY BIG HOLIDAY STUFF? Getting into the spirit.

Kiddo forced me to put up the Xmas tree now LOL but we said we were gonna put out ‘a few lights’ outside to be cheery but in the end, so far, no one wants to bother putting anything outside for decorations. I see all that outside stuff going into the big landfill bin in the sky sooner than later. Being older the big decorations are just not a thing for me anymore and kiddo hitting college she is like, whatever
just wondreing if anyone is ‘going all in Xmas’ this year!

(Michael) #122

exam week at college, so busy marking, which is a good busy

#123

might not be for some :scream_cat::100::joy:

So glad you checked even better that yours is cheaper than I can get but most of their recent sales were 6.99 so it was fantastic to see that dollar drop back down to pre pandemic sale price…remember that publix does a sale on every big holiday…

Well im happy to report that Dr Cywes plan this time actually has me losing weight I started this on the 9th and I’m already down 4lbs …so finally something clicking… add the drop in blood sugar and ketones are that are good numbers. 4.3 on ketones 87 for blood this morning …

Heating is a tad complicated because we prefer to use the cheapest one in the cheaper times and that’s not enough. We have a tiny A/C and only downstairs. We use 1-2 hours extra heating upstairs. It’s normally okay but the weather suddenly got very cold lately while I neglected most of the heating in my room as I was asleep (or should have been) at the right time for it. I need to manually change these things as there is one electrical outlet for both the A/C and my heater (it was closer to the part outside I suppose) and my heater is 1200 W anyway and I can’t use it for long, it’s a small room. Oh sometimes the heaters travel between rooms too… But I try to avoid that.
So I can heat more but it may cost more for less result, it’s complicated and we never will figure it out but we can try… I start to think it’s better to heat when I get cold instead of when it’s cheapest but as it’s a very insulated house, it’s very useful to store the heat in the walls and whatever the thing between the 2 floors are (it got a bit thickened due to new regulations, that extra was 37 tons alone). I just can’t calculate and imagine (as there are feelings involved) what would be best. But we just do the most in the cheapest way (without making the downstairs super hot all night, that wouldn’t be ideal. it’s already 20C there while our rooms are below 18. I need the highest temperature for the early night especially for falling asleep), we already do that and it’s not enough, some extra upstairs in the cheapest way here… I heat up my room after midnight and it will be all good until next afternoon. It will be “cold” most of the time but it’s fine when I am sleeping and especially in the morning, I don’t need warmth then, I have it due to my sleep.

Okay it’s probably more than anyone is interested in and it’s probably not clear anyway.
Main thing it’s fine, we just had a few off days when the whole country cooled down a lot and we didn’t act quickly enough. It’s easy to heat up the air as it’s light but we need to heat up everything. We depend on the house not cooling significantly just because we don’t heat for half a day. And we have it due to the insulation but the temperature of the house went down and crossed a line where it gets uncomfortable. Just temporarily. And the A/C spoiled us, we actually heated as much as we could before and still got 17C regularly (downstairs where it was less of a problem but still). But now it’s often 20C and that’s nice. And then I get way less in my room and freeze. Mostly my hands and feet, I am very rarely cold and then I just heat with whatever for some minutes.

I try to stop myself. I don’t overcomplicate things way too much to the point where it isn’t worth it, it’s almost a hobby to us

Eating wise I just give up and go away until I can have some order :frowning: I got hungry last time. Very much. I REALLY had enough of nighttime eating so I got more serious I hope.
My precious, expensive protein… I stopped tracking somewhere so IDK if guesstimation is 190 or 200g but I don’t need this much. I think I need to eat a tad fattier already…
I have some idea about December, various experiments and hopefully I will have some established OMAD coming January and I will start some strict enough times, I don’t promise anything anymore but I do will try various things. Like eating below $3 a day in the first week. I feel self-conscious about my overeating… And I should do some fat fast days again for reasons… I think my mental stability suffered due to the inflation here. And facing that my aunt’s money lost value rapidly… And ours too. Why can’t we just buy some gold bars or did I ask it before…? Other currencies aren’t good due to conversion costs, Alvaro says. But our currency is just horribly weak. I kinda want to spend money for good things so it doesn’t lose value more and more… We will try to finish the house next year.

#126

Congrats! That sounds quite serious unless you are prone to big water changes.
Meanwhile I am 75kg each and every time I step on my scale  But my scale is a character, my pants show I didn’t change lately.

I clearly maintain as I can’t gain and eat too much to lose, the same as almost always in the last 11 years or so. I am simple like that. But I practice skipping lunch since some time and I have some success so it isn’t like I do nothing. It’s all for my future success.
I fear I got too patient, I want chill and experiments way more than fat-loss. Oh and spending little on food, that too. OMAD helps with all of this so it’s still the plan.

{I am sorry next time I just bring photos…}

#127

Just a tiny one.

I just put back the ready to eat meat into the freezer
Except I have no room there now and I eat my main meat so slowly and we have other meats and quark… It’s a bit troublesome now but most items don’t spoil so easily, thankfully. How long pork roast last? I don’t know. 5 days is fine but then…? I postponed cooking the smoked pork hock (half of it goes to the freezer… it will be doable somehow), it helps a tiny bit with the freezer but now the fridge is packed so I can’t just cook something that needs to go in the fridge…
Maybe Alvaro will want some meat soon.

I don’t really complain, I like a packed fridge  But it is tricky sometimes.

(Karen) #128

@Fangs this is a jigsaw puzzle lol

This is the fold down jigsaw puzzle table

The top baize lifts off and the is another baize covered bit underneath which you do the jigsaw on and you can put the top baize back on and fold it down mid flow and it holds it in place til you want to continue . There is also a storage area under the baize tops for all the pieces of the puzzle. It is quite a heavy piece of furniture.

I have bought 2 jigsaw puzzles for Ben as per normal at xmas but i also picked up a couple of PS5 games for him today and he will have lots of goodies to eat. I have bought 2 bottle of fruit cider and told Sian not to ply him with more cider and wine this year! He was quite drunk last year and was a bit sick as she also plied him with all sorts of rich sticky foods !!! Poor lad. Fortunately he just fell to sleep and doesnt get silly or nasty not like me when i used to get drunk  ashamed to say i was just awful but i saw the error of my ways 22.5 years ago and havent missed it at all. Wouldnt have a sip now though as i am an all or nothing gal as i keep telling y’all lol

Just about done all the xmas shopping now, thankfully and gradually getting everything wrapped. I like to put little teaser clues on the parcels so they can try and guess whats inside. I’m not one of those fantastic party parcel wrappers but when i’m gone i know Sian will remember every xmas how i put those teaser clues on or got them gadgets that they had to work out what they were for. 2 years ago i bought her one and it took her ages to work out it was a garlic crusher and she say it was the best gadget ever and she would never use any other now!.

We still laugh when we remember my mums presents. She used to get lots of free gifts with the readers digest books she bought off the leaflets that came in the post and we usually were the recipients at xmas time. Some were rather questionable and it was always, “i wonder what Granny has sent us this year?” sometimes we would have tears streaming down our face the presents were so funny.:smile:

So slept better last night, no alarm set for this morning, 50 stair runs and 100 push ups.

Didnt eat till late in day, about 3/half 3 something around that time. Fried 2 beef burgers as i was a bit late taking stuff out of freezer. So i have 2 lots of chicken wings defrosting in the fridge. Some are nearly defrosted and one pack wont be defrosted till tomorrow sometime also defrosted some pork chops and they are now in the slow cooker for tomorrow. Also had a small jar of mussels, not eaten any for ages and thoroughly enjoyed every one lol followed by 3 chicken eggs scrambled in my special french butter, very nice.

Well done @Azi on your weight loss. :raised_hands::raised_hands:

I didn’t buy jigsaw puzzles since ages… Or played with them… I should, I have a few nice ones.
Yours look nice, once I had a ZILLION pieces one with 60% sky, the same type of clouds everywhere, it was horrible…
I had another one hard to put together but it was a painting with amazing contrast and colors. And I just happened to have a frame that was just the right height and a bit wider but I painted black the two sides… It’s a great puzzle painting on my wall, beautiful. When I put it together the first time, I knew it was the last time as no way I do that again. It was fine once but no more, thank you very much  So it was a successful one.
I like smaller puzzles so it doesn’t cover my floor for weeks, just for a day or something. I have two 240 pieces one, an 500 one - and one with 1000 and LOTS of blue. Too uniform blue to my liking as I remember, I only did it once and it didn’t give me very good memories. But the painting full with playing kids? Very old games from ancient times, it’s so very interesting to ponder about life back then… And it’s easy, smaller kids towards the top, very recognizable things… And only 240 pieces, not a big commitment.

Everyone talks about Christmas. We did nothing yet. Well I played with baked things some time ago when it wasn’t stressful yet, I need to continue but I probably will decorate play dough (a very nice one that dries on air, super cheap handmade stuff from corn starch and sodium bicarbonate) instead of gingerbread… I bought some very pretty blue acrylic paint and fancy brushes, a tiny one and a bigger one  They will have a hole and a golden thread to hang on the Christmas tree. It’s just a tiny lil thing along with the main (mostly edible) gift. We will get slippers, Alvaro’s Mom asked us and I told her we both need another pair. Oh and warm pants, yay, I still can postpone going to clothes shopping, I love that… She took measurements. I told her I have enough shower gel and scarf/hat/gloves for a long time. I don’t even use scarves and hats often as I get overheated in them. I use the gloves in my room and for my back exercises.
And Alvaro ordered me something… It’s a small package, I got it from the postman (we usually get a notice to go into the village but not this time. Alvaro had to wake me up, I wasn’t amused as it had horrible timing, I probably was in deep sleep or something) and patiently waited for Alvaro to come home, I am super curious about things. And he said we wait with it until Christmas. And a few hours later I knew from a chat with our friends that it’s MINE.
:flushed:
Alvaro rarely has gift ideas but those are super good. The one for my birthday wasn’t perfect only because it was an observatory visit arranged days ago and it was cloudy. It was still nice but not the complete thing we wanted.

Why do I talk this much instead of leaving this poor thread in peace…

But I promised a photo! (And only a photo. Ooops. I forgot.)
I ate this beauty today though not the whole thing… I don’t know why I can’t eat my roast properly now (I admit I didn’t try hard anyway as I ate enough protein for 2 days yesterday. and I had sausage and other things). But the fatty part I had was very, very good. The fat layer got CRISPY!

And I don’t know if my tastebuds or something in my mind go crazy or it has a very fine scientific explanation but my lard (including the one still in/on my meat and what I rendered from my last fatty pork) totally tastes like very good duck fat… And I love it.

@jh5899: Oh, pretty photos :heart_eyes:

(Michael) #131

I ate OMAD yesterday. Two pics is first plate

And a side view of same

After that plate I had a second plate of vitamins

Followed this with 6 oz of cheese. Total eating time was well over an hour. Think I will keep OMAD this month.

@Azi
Super happy to read your new report on you and Dr C finding what suits you now. Good loss. Nothing like eating well and then losing some lbs right? More power forward!! Yea I need some nice standing rib in my freezer. I am off to Publix tomorrow morning early. they open at 7, I will be right there when they unlock the doors LOL

@Shinita, oh you are upstairs downstairs. for some reason I thought your home was one level like mine. It really is better to heat to your body ya know. I would have to be that way. Instead of ‘doing it cheaper times’ etc I think following how your body feels really is a key. I got my heat set low and I am typing here in a very big fluffy robe to keep from getting cold but I think right now I might put the heat up 1 point LOL I am usually dressed and moving by now but I got a hair appt at 9:30 so I am draggin’ being a slug til that time.

but it is hard to chase savings on our heating issues. I know. I tried also. Our power cost has sure went up a good bit. Kinda surprised me even the darn electric bill now took that hit higher. I do have a propane fireplace but it is too hot ya know, too hot to use until the winter time gets way more cold to bother using it. I have to check what propane costs are NOW…might not be using it too much against the electric costs. I have to check on it and see my cheapest options.

on some meats they sit too long already defrosted in the fridge so refreeze sometimes ain’t an option unless I catch it fast enough. Plus when I defrost I don’t want more back into the freezer, darn thing has enough in it already. Omg I love my freezer

@Karen18, ya know I forgot they were called ‘jigsaw’ puzzles. I just always said puzzles in my life but darn I remember now LOL too funny! And that table is sweet. My Dad made us a very big wooden board with wood trim work as our puzzle for the dining room table. Every Xmas when ALL of us would converge he would put out a 1000 piece puzzle and everyone would walk by, when wanted, and put in pieces and leave and by the time the holiday visits were over, boom we had it done  THEY are fun to do!!

Funny on Ben. Yea a tad too much right? I feel ya on that. Older we get the less we need to bother in that direction right? no one wants to feel crappy but so easily avoided

Loved what your Mum did on free gits from readers digest books. hysterical. We always got from mom and dad a ‘junk present box’ filled with stuff we used and needed. We laughed over that stuff too but in the end, boy we used all that crap in those present boxes  great memories!

@jh5899
same ole…wow what a rough life to lead right? :100::partying_face:
outstanding carnivore pic!!

@Naghite ----and a plate of vitamins! too funny!! I can just picture people opening up those ‘sunday to saturday’ pill containers and sucking out the 14 pills in each little box and sucking them down with water…and your vitamin plate is so wonderful vs those pics that come into my mind when one takes vitamins :100::ok_hand:

That big ol’ honking steak…wowza

----------------------Carnivores, the pics I am seeing are outstanding and I am loving what all are eating…omgosh what beauty meal pictures! I can’t thank ya’ll enough for sharing this too. I love seeing what others are enjoying!!!

So today is this Tbone when I get home from hair appt around 10 or so
1.15 lb.
image000000%20(49)

Yes Bolt knew I took out meat. He was barking the whole time so I have to do this below…he wasn’t happy it was frozen even though he tried hard to nail onto it but nuking it soft for him now.

image000000%20(50)

he has 0 patience like me HAHA

I am firmly thinking new vet soon. Find it all out and re-eval him to this point. I tell ya guys, wanting to put him down on that monday? wth? he recovered ‘so far’ and is doing exceptionally well so? Yes new vet, new tech, new eyes on him and from there we go. ugh

ZC strong all

edited to say gosh I ‘time cooked’ his burger instead of ‘time defrost’ it and it came out a black hockey puck LOL I got another burger in the nuker for him and let me tell ya, he ain’t pleased on waiting  too funny!

#133

But the two are almost the same. Of course cheaper times are vital* so that has a high priority, it’s very easy not to be cold, there are so many easy ways. Moving, dressing up more… So I never will spend much extra on that but it doesn’t matter much when we heat our house. It’s all about keeping the weight of the house warm enough. So it barely matters when we heat and skipping even half day doesn’t make a very big difference. It seems the house isn’t warm enough yet, cold winter came too early compared to the start of heating, maybe.

*We have a quota for electicity usage too. Going over makes the price WAY higher. Oh it’s worst for the mineral gas (?) users, going over their quota makes the price for the amount over the quota 8 times higher… But their quota is super big. Electricity quota is small so it must be bad for some people who heats with electricity… It’s good our house is smallish (it’s 2 floors as it’s more compact that way, less heating is needed. and because it’s FUN to have 2 floors, better view and stairs. and it was a 2 floor house to begin with) and we don’t get cold so easily.
We simply can’t use more of the cheaper electricity, the normal one has a huge wriggle room though. And more electricity for needed warmth? No big deal, all our other costs are so tiny compared to food costs… (I just want to find the best way to do things.) And it’s cheap food, almost no room to make it even cheaper so I better get ready to eat less… Or we will see. Actually, eating simple carni OMAD meals should be enough to lower my food costs. And I plan some fasting and fat-fast days here and there too, I have all these extra fat I don’t need…

I totally use the most expensive heating method when I am cold at 10pm at my computer  I don’t even need much, just get warmed up (and 1200W radiating heat next to me is super effective at that) and then I am fine for an hour or 2 again. But to raise the normal, without extra heating temperature of my room I use the cheaper heating, way longer than the most expensive one. That’s only for “emergencies”. It’s fine, I am a hedonist, I never would “freeze” at home if there is any way to avoid it  I just was careless and things piled up but it’s better now. And no harm done. I was living and starving in 8C before and I was quite fine physically. Mentally not but it wasn’t the lack of food and warmth. Okay, it means nothing, short term things are easier. I really felt miserable in a 9 or 13C house  Even 16 is bad. I felt cold more than enough for this life so I always will be warm enough if I can do anything about it.

I wrote too much again.

Oh and a cold but survivable house is still way better than a hot one. I suffer in that situation immensely. I am so thankful Alvaro find the same 18-20C ideal… Well 20C is a bit much but it feels so nice occasionally. It all depends how we feel, excited, tired, sleepy… Sunshine makes a difference too. And 18C is very much for exercise but I don’t do it so hard so even that is acceptable, I just need to undress
18C is 64.4F, 20C is 68F.
Summer is different as my body adapts a bit and I am always scantily clad so my ideal room temperature goes up a bit. 23C is no problem then but in winter? Awful. Sleep is especially bad there.

My room is 17.5C now, perfect, I don’t even need warm clothes now. I will want more in the evening. It’s a bit unfortunate that the heating is in full force at the time when we need it best but well, it’s for making the house warmer and it will keep most of the warmth. It just will be a lower air temperature.

Okay I really stop already.

Ours is significantly lower than a few years ago  And the house is warmer  A/C is effective. Our monthly electricity cost (and we use electricity for everything. heating, warm water, cold water, very big use of computers - some uses very much electricity -, very much cooking and baking) is about as much as 1 kg ribeye. Of course it’s more in winter and less in summer but the average is that.
Yeah, I really think I overdo the thinking about heating BUT we can’t help it, I said it’s kind of a hobby. Or obsession. Optimization is important for us  And I don’t think so much about it, most of it is what I wrote, normally I barely spend any thought on it.

But I am an idiot overeating when I shouldn’t spend as much on food. And I overeat protein too, so much sometimes. It must STOP. I feel sorry for all the wasted money… But not too much as it’s not hedonistic and my life is already dark and miserable. So my self protection unit comes and chase the thought away. But I can change the future!
It’s mostly not about the money, I passionately hate wastefulness, it’s odd I am still so good being wasteful… Okay, not so much without carbs and almost not at all on carnivore (when I truly can do it) but still.

I defrosted the freezer in 1.5 hours but if I don’t wait until I have super thick ice, it surely can be done quicker. And I did it when there was freezing temp outside! So the meat wasn’t really affected. Good, there was a lot.

(Karen) #135

Your same ol’ looks same ol’ flippin good!

(Karen) #136

@fangs i wish my Mums pressies had been useful… she sent my daughter a fleece jacket one time … it was something she would wear and she probably bought it but it was too small when it arrived and she thought i know who that will fit lol Oh my we did laugh, poor Sian she was in to very trendy stuff by that time and this just wasnt really hip at all! So glad Bolt is doing so well. God answers prayers so quickly sometimes and others dont get answered for ages, if ever! There is a timing for everything :pray: great idea putting jigsaws out on a table for everyone to be included in the fun. It is very hard to see anyone doing a jigsaw without seeing that one piece to fit that the person has missed :joy:

@Shinita i did a round jigsaw and stuck it to a backing cardboard and hung it on the wall, i had it for years. You need my jigsaw table so the pieces dont litter your floor lol.

I was up about 9am this morning had a couple of black coffees and read at the patio door in the lounge. The sun looks so inviting but has been very deceptive… -5 until about 11ish when it has been rising to about 1°. It is meant to be 13° next monday … whats that all about, we will just enjoy a day or two of mild warm weather and then probably get the beast from the east again lol

Got a bath and hair wash and dollied up for the tea dance this afternoon. Not sure why i bothered with doing my hair as i had my xmas hat on and when i took it off when i got back home my hair was stuck to my head like i had been wearing a wig all day :rofl::rofl:

Raymond did so well this afternoon, no sticks which he said helped ease his shoulder pain as he wasnt putting pressure on it with holding them. He danced just about every dance he knew although he got a bit out of breath with the ballroom. That should get better over time. He was really pleased with himself and rightly so.! Some of the other guys looked a bit like oh no she has a partner again lol and one of the wives came over and said please get Jim up to dance! I did a few times, they had all been so lovely while i had no partner so i wouldnt just forsake them all now

I was flippin starved by the time i got home so first meal of the day was a pork chop. It was one from the slow cooker which was cold so i quickly seared it in the fry pan. It was nice. While i ate that i had chicken wings in the oven cooking. I covered them in some hot pepper sauce but not so much that it blew my head this time. Learned my lesson lol.

#137

@Karen18: I just use my bed and computer most of the time, it’s no problem to have the puzzle pieces on my flour for 1 day per year :stuck_out_tongue:
Tables aren’t good enough (okay, we had no foldable tables yet…) as they just start to attract every kind of things from both of us immediately, it’s frightening. My kitchen island has no space at all, okay that’s on me and there are reasons for everything so I can’t just put them away now but all other tiny surface gets cluttered by computer hardware (totally Alvaro). Well, the floor too, sometimes. And everything, really. I lose my patience when I want to use my press bench and I find 4kg computer hardware on it (that’s a lot considering it’s mostly just motherboards, video- and soundcards, sometimes microprocessors and RAM modules)… Well it’s a surface, too close to the main door… Of course it happens. The bench is very much used for its surface in various ways, food items are even more frequent there.

And Alvaro started it with collecting microprocessors… Those are tiny! (Usually. Some are bigger.)
But of course, they must be tested! So we have everything now. MANY of everything. 100 isn’t a big number for almost any item, I am glad we only have a few monitors, computer houses and C=64s… Like, 10 of each? IDK and it’s late, I don’t want to go to the room to check. Not like it’s easy to enter the room, mind you. It’s a special hoarder room but we still see the carpet and today I realized we need to clean it. Oh, joy.
We totally will buy some very low cupboards (room under the roof, we can’t put any more big ones there) as there is room for it, very soon! It will be great… For a little while then Alvaro managed to get more stuff, probably. He buys and sells too but somehow his hoard just gets bigger.
But my room has space for small cupboard too so it will be fine for some years and then I tell him that no one needs many hundreds of HDDs and soundcards…

I only clutter my artyfarty table like crazy (and everything else with papers, that too). No matter how many rocks I put into any kind of container, that poor table is completely full all the time… But it’s just rocks and paints and similar things everywhere on a single table dedicated to rock painting so it’s fine I suppose. Until I decide I want to do aquarell too (of course I want, I recently bought aquarell paper).

(J) #138

It’s a protein-heavy job, but somebody’s gotta do it.

(Karen) #139

 you have made me giggle this morning. Creative people are usually hoarders and have clutter everywhere… useful clutter that will get used of course … even if it is 5 years down the line hahaha. I have 5.5 clutter rooms … the .5 is the boxroom upstairs (the baby bedroom) it has been used as an office for too many years. It needs the walls re plastering and the whole (small) room dug out and re vamped. … but of course to do that i have to clear the other rooms to re jig everything. I have been thinking of de cluttering recently … it has slightly moved on from just thinking lol and i managed to clear a huge black bin liner full of clothes to the charity shop on thursday and i still managed to end up buying a jacket to bring back home! Oh Lordy there is no hope for me. I still have the downstairs front room full of my mums furniture from when i cleared her house! I just cant bear the thought of starting on it and like i said another room has to be sorted to be able to then sort that one! It is a viscious circle. I despair! I have 1 peaceful room, my lounge where i sit in the mornings that are too icy cold to sit outside. I do like a peaceful retreat in the house. I dont watch the tv in there, it might as well be thrown away, its too big but also too old (was my mums) it is just nice and quiet and i can think clearly as there isnt really what i would call clutter … except for the xmas cards on the floor that i have been writing for people, they can go up in the loft till next year now. Some might think it is cluttered with plants but they are lovely green plants and i like watching them grow and thrive and looking at the different leaf shapes and they make the room come alive. I like turning them and then watching the leaves gradually turn toward the light of the patio doors. Doesn’t take them long!

The back ‘garden’ room nearly got cleared when i was doing the garden but i have had to bring a few things back in for the winter and so it is a bit full again! I am sure i could get rid of so much stuff. I did so well with the big shed in the summer and i just need to get more motivation. I wil pray harder and it will happen.
I dont think i could ever have anyone else live with me ever again … i can just about tolerate my own clutter without having anyone elses :rofl:

ahhhh, so sly and so slick on that one  too funny!!!

loved your dance pic with Raymond! You live it up great K!

how old is Raymond now, I can’t remember but it is nice to know he is definitely improving and we know dancing is big cardio so if he is dancing that much and doing well, so happy he is getting great health improvement!!

@Naghite
Thick steak. Just so much more flavor for sure. Your pic is stellar.

-----------So life has changed on how I can get around so yesterday knowing I can’t hit Publix any time soon I just bought the ‘darn higher priced’ stupid Standing Rib Roast  I got only 1. It will be my Xmas dinner for family so freezing it, not cutting it down, will do one big ol’ roast to the table and we will attack that thing like crazy. Tad higher cost but I got so much doing that I can’t run store to store for sales right now…ugh…kiddo accepted to Uni at Western Carolina so it is ALL college in the house right now and got enroll and dorm apps and more to handle. Plus ‘real life’ stuff doing of course on top of that and figuring out what finances to pull from what accts. Yes they want money :frowning: HA

So here is pic of Xmas roast and yes that is little doggie always at my feet demanding food. He ate a big ol’ burger patty this morn and is super content right now.

for me today is chicken to start and then a steak/shrimp for tonight. I wanna be ‘hungry’ for my steak and shrimp dinner tonight ya know so lighter meat like chicken will set me up to want to eat later with the family.
