Traveling keto style

#1

This is how we roll. :sunglasses:

Going to 3-day conference in Phoenix and I don’t like leaving things to chance. Made an entire package of cheese into crisps, packed two (firm) baby avos and the last of the keto yeast bread. They’re providing lunch, so I figure I’ll dump the bread and eat their sandwich fillings between cheese crisps.

Also in my suitcase: macadamias, seaweed snacks and Trader Joe’s Cheese Snacks. The hotel provides free bacon and eggs, so no need to pack those.

I have done that too. Not exactly the same but similar. I made muffins in a minute and brought macadamia nuts, dark chocolate and beef jerky. Avocados and cheese crisps are a great idea!

When I travel, it is for vacation and usually to Europe and have found that the food choices there are always great. It is the actual travel there and back that is the challenge.

I’m hoping that fasting will become so second-nature for me that I can fast during travel time itself - and then eat when/if I come across good options and otherwise just not eat.

[But your food looks terrific and it seems like you have a great plan!]

Yeah, I was planning to fast yesterday at the conference (not a travel day) but found myself feeling a little jittery. Probably too much caffeine, but I decided to break the fast. Glad I had my cheese crisps!

Love that idea!
