Too much protein

I started this diet a few weeks ago and I have yet to go into ketosis. I think my protein is too high. I’m having a really hard time getting 25% protein when everything that I eat that’s high fat is meat with a ton of protein (with the exception of bacon). I’m allergic to dairy, coconut, eggs, nuts, and avocado so it’s hard to find meals with higher fat than protein content. Any suggestions?

Lots of olive oil and ghee. Cook lean meats in bacon grease or oil. Find 70/30 hamburger

How are you measuring ketosis?

I ask because a lot of the methods we use are not great once adapted (such as pee sticks)

I eat nothing but meat, and after downing 2 pounds of steak I’m burping ketones within an hour of finishing.

Highly doubt protein is keeping you out of ketosis. Eat fatty cuts of beef.

I have used the sticks but I am basing it on the fact that I’ve experienced nothing that would indicate ketosis from all the research I’ve done, including any of the various symptoms, keto flu, weight loss, energy, etc. Nothing.
