I took a sip of coffee in my favourite coffee shop yesterday and it tasted different and not as good. Instant thought - oh no, they’ve changed their supplier.

A minute later I realised that even though id ordered double cream for it, I’d accidentally added sugar, like pre-keto days. And the sugar had tasted bad to me!!!

Sugar!! In my coffee!! Ive had sugar in my coffee for over 20 years, except the last 6 weeks! Any other sugar addicts will understand :smiley:

Don’t get me wrong, I still sniff;e up the little bits of sugar still with it my macros and usually love them and get that sweet kick. But for my taste buds to have adapted in 6 weeks of keto to thinking sugared coffee tasted wrong and bad??? NS VICTORY FOR ME!!!
