Time to get serious

#1

I tried Keto last year and had success losing 40 pounds. Unfortunately the holidays at the end of the year sabotaged me and I swayed way off. Time to start again and get disciplined. I found this forum so I hope to learn a lot and stay motivated this time.

Check out recipes section. You’ll never sway again. So much good stuff.

Well hey @bunchabull
If you aren’t full of a bunch of bull you can do this! Lol.

Did ya listen to the podcasts? Super motivating.

People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing - that’s why we recommend it daily.–Zig Ziglar

There’s a cubic buttload (to use the scientific term) of 2KetoDudes podcasts for on-the-go motivation, as well as another cubic buttload of support here. It’s a wonderful community with folks from a wide range of backgrounds. I guarantee that whatever you might encounter, you aren’t alone and someone here has probably been through something quite similar. There’s also great resources to be had, with lists of books and videos to take in. You can do this!

I just finished all the podcasts today! They are very motivating and full of information. I can vouch for inspiring too! Give them a try.

Thanks everybody

Don’t give up, it is a journey. If you are doing everything right 80% of the time you will have a great outcome.

Is it your birthday?

#9

That’s what the little :birthday: icon means next to their name today.

Happy Birthday @KetoFied :birthday: !

Welcome!! I think the more knowledge you gain and the better you feel the less you ever want to have carbs again.

@KetoFied Happy Birthday! :confetti_ball::tada::balloon::gift:

Since this is an international forum, shouldn’t we use the term ‘metric crapton’? If we didn’t, some might have to change their tooling, which can be expensive.

(Tom) #12

I just about did use metric crapton, but then the 3-dimensional notion of cubic just seemed to be more vivid at the time.

(Crow T. Robot) #13

I like the way you think. By the way, shouldn’t you be lovingly frosted with glucose? :frog:

(Tom) #14

Used to be, but then the 'ygeine squad cracked down.

It’s a fair cop – not very keto

(Mike W.) #16

I wasn’t sure. Thanks. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

The American Zorn terms are:

fuckton and shitload, a fuck ton being equal to 10 shit loads.

I added a picture to my name so that my username might make more sense.

I love the irony of all this being in the “Time to get serious” thread. :grinning:
