I was at farm boy and took a pic of these little tortillas . When I google some
People say this company is lieing on the stats and from the ingredients they seem to good to be true
This doesn’t seem right
Why would you want to purchase this when it is so high in Carbs and Fibers? It is not very Keto =) …plus look at the ingredients… full of ewww stuff, including dextrose…
It’s the ingredients in there that I don’t like . Just nice to find a low carb shell , as can’t find anything around here . Plus I want to know if they are lieing as it keeps me looking harder at the ingredients
There’s no way a corn tortilla could possibly be zero carb, which the label makes it appear to be. 15 total carbs - 15 grams of fiber = 0 net carbs?
There are lots of keto wrap, tortilla and bread/bun recipes on the internet. Just put the word keto in front of anything your little heart desires. Unfortunately with keto we have to pretty much make stuff like this as there aren’t really any mass produced keto foods like this. And they would not have the shelf life that standard processed foods like corn tortillas have unless real compromises were made towards sub desirable ingredients. Not everyone but most of us focus on using fresh minimally processed, single ingredient foods when possible. Grains are one of the worst things you can eat on a ketogenic diet. They basically turn right into sugar after you eat them. Give yourself a chance to adapt to a new way of eating without focus on products you gave up for keto. Focus instead on the stuff you can eat that’s delicious. I wish you well with your keto endeavors.
Thanks I have tried bread but comes out eggie and I like the toast crunch . I thought anything with corn can’t be zero carbs . Haven’t seen any homie references since living colour way back in the day ( loved the show)
Could it be a non-USA label and the 19 grams of “Total Carbohydrates” are actually the net carbohydrates? That is, 38 grams of carbohydrates less 19 grams of fiber = 19 grams of net carbs.
In any case, the label has to be incorrect. How the heck do they get to 120 calories for the product? Even if the fat made up 13 calories (<1.5 grams of fat), that leaves a need for 107 calories, or about 27 grams of carbs and proteins.
Note that there are no grams of proteins listed, not even “0g”. Misprint?
So basically like every food company that has ever existed since the creation of the nutritional label?
I go personal by total carb to 20 and this would be an epic fail for me.
Too much other “gunk” on there as well.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not 100percent pure, but I limit the impurities.
And as mentioned above, it’s not easy to find all prepared stuff. A lot of it relies on actually cooking and learning recipes and making stuff from scratch, and itself can be very rewarding.
I am not worried about the ingredients as I know they are like 99% corn. A similar analysis looks like the following for one ounce…62 calories so about half of what you have (which is two pieces) and the calories match… the fiber content on your label is just wrong.
Total Fat 0.8 g | 1% |
---|---|
Saturated fat 0.1 g | 0% |
Polyunsaturated fat 0.4 g | |
Monounsaturated fat 0.2 g | |

Potassium 53 mg | 1% |
Total Carbohydrate 13 g | 4% |
Dietary fiber 1.8 g | 7% |
