Hi there! I am brand new to Keto (day 8). I don’t really have any questions currently that you guys haven’t covered in previous topics. Man, you guys are a WEALTH of information! So, thank you all so much for all your input and advice. I really just wanted to introduce myself and say hi and that I am really looking forward to this journey and hopefully getting to know some of you as a support community.

My SO and I began this mainly as a way of trying to get his diabetes under control and for me for weightloss and just overall health. We have started off strong. There has been a significant improvement in his daily BG readings. And I have lost 9lbs so far. (Just waiting for the water weight to drop off so I can have a more accurate idea of expected weight loss. )

I am beginning to realize that this process is different for everyone. Sugar cravings have been a lot worse for him than me but he has always had more trouble than me with saying no to carbs … but was no saint either lol. My biggest issue (at least for the past couple days) has been the muscle pain and fatigue. But after reading some advice from you all, I tried nu-salt. Actually took some straight … it was no worse than a BC powder tbh. The improvement was amazing! Within a few hours the pain in my legs is all but gone.

Alright so I’ve probably been longwinded enough lol. Thank you to anyone who made it through my post! :heart:

Welcome. Keep up the good work and feel free to share and ask any questions you have (after searching, of course.) Read everything, you’ll learn a lot. Good job on the electrolytes, minding you’re getting enough is a daily thing for most people.
