Got some blood work done today…doctor recommended a low-fat high fiber diet (lol) from these results:

TRIG 59
CHOL 245
HDL 98
LDL 134* HH
VLDL 12

Fasting Glucose was 75 mg/dL

Dr hasn’t got a clue.

No, he’s just trying to stay employed. If everyone was keto, we’d only need a tenth of the doctors we have now.

Your ratio of trigs to HDL is wonderful. I’m jealous! :+1: :+1: :bacon:

it was a she…and she is very well meaning and a great doctor in other respects, just following the advice she got in med school I’m sure!

Low Carb Down Under published a new video yesterday about how unnecessary fibre is to the diet. Worth a watch I think?

HDL of 98. Wow. That is awesome.

My ratio was under 2 (,trig/hdl) although not as low as it had been in the past, and mine said we’ll watch it for a while and not start stations " quite yet".
Everything is by the book. Cookbook medicine.
