Texas Heat And Riding

(Todd Gamel) #1

When you live in Texas, have worked a 13 hour shift, it’s dark, and it’s 100 degrees in your garage, and for some insane reason you think you need to spend 60 minutes spinning the pedals, you better have a Texas size fan.

Makes me feel like I am riding 60 miles an hour even though I am going way slower ;). Did I mention it keeps me nice and comfy as well.

I guess that saying is true that everything is bigger in Texas.

given the temps here at the moment in the UK I am getting used to it much higher temps than normal which is an interesting experience as I am sweating less than I would have say two years ago.

Went out for a ruck march at 2AM to avoid the heat and almost got attacked by some jerk’s guard dogs. Seriously people, if you’re going to have guard dogs, fence your property.
