Tandoori Chicken: A Flavorful Keto Delight

(Tandoor Morni) #1

Tandoori Chicken is a perfect dish for those on a ketogenic diet. The chicken is marinated in a flavorful mix of yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and tandoori spices, then grilled or baked for a delicious, tender result. The combination of spices and yogurt gives the chicken a rich, smoky flavor, while keeping the dish low-carb and high in protein. It’s a great option for a satisfying meal that fits perfectly into keto eating habits.

Sounds good. Can you provide a recipe or what tandoori spices are? TIA!!

I normally just fry the chicken with tandoori on it but only the skin gets the spice so marinading is better, I will try that!
(Normally I eat pork and that’s perfect with salt so I am somewhat unfamiliar with soaking things in anything but cream/milk and garlic made wonders to liver and chicken breast this far.)

I tried to make tandoori once, I used a recipe. It failed, apparently they aren’t all the same. So I just buy the spice mix, too bad it usually comes in tiny amounts. Works for my chicken, not so well for my SO’s curry variation, that takes a lot! But we just bought 3x100g (still smallish amount but better than the usual 30g) so all is well

I am finding that I enjoy chicken less and less. Give me lamb and beef any day.
