Here is a ranking of the glycemic load of various sweeteners.
Sweetener index
There’s also sweeteners which are anti-ketogenic because of insulin response, like AceK - acesulfame potassium.
Not sure if this link will work, but Dr. Ted Naiman charted the more important INSULIN response to the various sweeteners. In case the old FB link doesn’t work, the lowest was Stevia, followed by Erythritol.
You know, to be fair, now that I read that link carefully, it also shows insulin index. However the comments that go with the graphic are great. Including comments from Naiman and Fung discussing sweeteners. Good stuff.
Do you know where I can find this chart? I’ve been searching around but I’m coming up empty. Thanks.
Not sure it’ll post here, but it’s from an old Ted Naiman Facebook from post that I saved. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10209030396545968&set=p.10209030396545968&type=3&theater
