Hello Guys

I am looking for a Keto support group in London or LCHF diets.
For some reason I can not find any!

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #2

Dr. David Unwin and Dr. Jen Unwin run support groups out of Norwood Avenue Surgery in Southport. While I’m sure that’s too far away to pop up for meetings, it’s possible they might be able to direct you to a group closer to home. It’s worth a try, anyway.

And welcome to the Ketogenic Forums!

If there was a KetoDiet equivalent of WeightWatchers I’d be delighted and would attend. Sadly it seems KetoDiet is slow to catch on here in the UK

It’s getting slightly more mainstream though so that’s brill.

Have you seen the Slimfast keto shake?

Funniest thing ever.

Corporations trying to sneak their way into our lovely keto space, lol.

I saw those too and wondered who they are trying to kid!

I wonder what the ingredients of that are?

I used to love Slimfast many, many years ago and had a little success but I missed eating real food. I did look at the ingredients list on the UK formulation and dismissed it instantly. Protein content way too low for me.

Taken directly from their Amazon UK store.

@chezza your image didn’t upload correctly. Might just be my end though.

It didn’t look like it was going to upload, the WiFi is a bit dodgy here sometimes

there ya go. That’s the US version. I guess it could be worse, but … ergh. I’m sure the UK version is just as appetizing.

“… coconut oil powder (milk), calcium caseinate (milk), fat-reduced cocoa powder (19%), medium chain triglyceride powder (7%) (milk), avocado oil powder (3%), flavouring (milk), stabilisers (xanthan gum, sodium carboxy methyl cellulose), salt, sweeteners (sucralose, acesulfame K), vitamin B6, zinc oxide, vitamin B12”. Wow, even worse, congratulations!

(No idea what’s meant by (milk) randomly inserted after half the ingredients, either.)
