Sugar for breakfast leads to increased childhood obesity

A couple articles I ran into today both of which have to do with kids. The first is an easy to read article from an English doctor. The second is a scientific article having to do with insulin resistance and children.

I’ll be honest, I read the title and the latest podcast #51 came to mind.

My takeaway towards the end when the observed four types of people where being described, was that children that were obese grew up with more and smaller fat cells. If I heard correctly, they have a better chance at being healthier when they get older.

On that note, check out the podcast if you haven’t already. The dudes and guest explain it infinitely better than my paraphrasing

I’m half-way through the podcast. I feel asleep while it was playing last night. :weary:
