There are sucralose cough drops at Walgreens and Wal-mart. While I do use them, I am thrifty with their use. They may not impart the breath mint smell you are looking for though. Sucralose is known to kill of the gut microbiome. When taken into bacteria, it releases 3 chlorine atoms. A small amount will kill beneficial bacteria. Duke did a study in which a teaspoon of the stuff killed off about half the microbiome. While many will say big deal… I don’t care… they will go on to develop leaky gut and auto-immune conditions. really!? I am a HUGE fan of Ice Sparkling which has sucralose. I’ve been drinking it for a year. I don’t notice any difference. I might be addicted, or just really like drinking it…

Sadly, people don’t notice any difference in their life until they have a stroke or heart attack, and find they have the silent killer - heart disease.

People remodel their microflora all the time without noticing much difference, but the science says there is a difference:
