Stupid cheat

So, I’ve been successfully eating no sugar and then keto for a few months now and lost 10lbs (that’s all I need to lose), lost migraines, lost bleeding gums, lost bloated gut and windy both ends and lost painful knee joints.
I decided to have a fruit crumble that was sitting in the fridge as I really used to like them. Firstly, it didn’t taste as good as I remember- a bit bland and boring. Secondly, within five minutes I was feeling bloated and within half an hour I was seriously windy. I now feel sluggish and remember this is how I used to feel after most meals.
Never thought food could make this much of a difference until I started this way of eating!

It is remarkable isn’t it? I’m fairly strict but I also allow life to happen. Meaning that I’ll have more carb heavy meals and drinks on occasion. Without exception, I’m bloated, farty, and weigh between 1.5 and 2 lbs more per day of indulging. What’s comforting is knowing that I have repeatedly gotten back on track and everything realigns itself fairly quickly.
