I’m responding here because what I have to say is relevant to this entire thread. I thought it to be the best place
In regards to dairy……low fat and skim both have the fat cut down/removed. That leaves the protein (casein) and sugar (lactose). Plus zero taste. I grew up in a European household. We used butter-REAL butter. In Europe (France mainly) there’s no such thing as low fat. Foods are eaten as they’re supposed to.
One more thing I want to add: breast fed babies get fat quickly as mom’s milk evolves with baby’s age. They NEED the fat. That’s where all the nutrients are. Way too many things are done to our foods here in the US to make me wonder if they’re still “food”. I look forward to my France trip yearly……and btw-FRENCH PEOPLE HAVE A VERY RICH DIET and most do not have the health issues we have here.
KEEP THE FAT PLEASE!
