I remember hearing about a study that compared 3 groups of people. Each group got I think 80% of their calories from Carbs, Protein, and Fat, respectively. All ate the same number of calories per day.
I believe the results were that he group that ate mostly fat lost, on average, 2 pounds per week. The group that ate most protein lost, on average, 1 pound per week. The group that ate mostly carbohydrates gained 2 pounds per week.
Does anyone know what I’m talking about?
