Interesting to see acknowledgement of hormonal health when presented with data that pretty blatantly contradicts the simplistic CICO assumption. No reference to long-term high-carb metabolic effects (study claims no finding of any causes and says further reserach is needed; Atlantic speculates randomly), but the assertion that your hormones, gut bacteria, environment, etc. affect how you store and burn fat is refreshing.
