Study on sugar, non-nutritive sweeteners, sex (male/female), and obesity

This is a very interesting study comparing sugar, non-nutritive sweeteners (NNS), and placebo (water) for men and women.

Randomized cross-over trial

They found multiple differences, including by sex:

In other words, women ate more after having sugar/sucralose, but the men did not.

They also found satiety hormones were similar for both sugar and sucralose. That is, both were bad.
