Hi did your blood pressure normalize? Did you stop Keto
I did go to the ER that weekend. All tests came back normal. The ER doc told me to increase my carbs for a month to 50 and then slowly reduce to see how I felt. He said the Keto diet was stressing my system. I’m still on Keto and have lost 30 pounds.
Wow, thanks so much for this thread. I’ve been on Keto for about 3.5 weeks. I love the way I feel except for my elevated blood pressure and heart rate. It’s driving me crazy. I started taking a potassium supplement, adding extra sodium to my food, and taking an electrolyte supplement. Please post if you find a solution and I’ll do the same.
Do a search on salt on the forum. You will find numerous discussions on how much is needed on a daily basis. You are probably to getting enough salt.
