Starting my 2nd (edit: 3rd) keto month tomorrow. So far I’m down 17 pounds. I have a lot more energy and can barely even eat 1 normal meal a day. IF during the week. Working up to a regular 24 hour cycle. My only complaint is my irritability factor has increased 10 fold. However, for the first time in my life I actually can’t wait until August to get my first post keto A1C tested. I’m also taking Metformin…boo.

I had major irritability for awhile too but I’m now in week 6 and haven’t had it for a week.
BUT, I have zero weight loss so it sounds like your body is really responding! I’m still hungry 3 times a day, however, that is better than the 20 times a day before keto. Hope your A1c goes great!

I was always on the irritable side before. But it’s ramped up. I’m trying to control it though. As for your lack of weight loss, are you keeping a food diary? Like the My Fitness Pal app? Tracking everything, and I mean everything, that goes in your mouth? It really helps to see if your eating hidden carbs.
