Starbucks egg bites

#1

I was eating the egg white bites and just discovered that the pair of them have 13 carbs! However, the bacon ones have less than 1 carb for pair. So, if you eat bacon, you’re in luck!!! I don’t eat bacon.

In August I was traveling in Tennessee and we stopped for morning coffee and saw the Gouda & Bacon and ordered them. Nice quick bite and a good thing to have when everyone else is having a croissant!

I make my own at home using the Anova sous vide circulator, using their recipe here:

They include multiple recipes, so if you don’t care for bacon, you can do a different option.

I make a dozen at a time, and have a convenient keto meal anytime! Also portable.

Starbucks snacks are notoriously high carb! I’m actually surprised the bacon bites are so low, that’s awesome.

This is one of my favorite recipes to make with sous vide. They are perfect to take to work.

Unfortunately, they’re not low carb. 9g carbs, 2g sugar, no fiber.

A damn shame, glad I don’t buy that stuff, overpriced haha.

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #8

I’m sorry; this is not a language I understand.

I know, right?
