Star bucks latte heavy whip venti

(Dustin) #1

Any body know the macro count on this? Not having a easy time googling it.

Not familiar with that drink, but FWIW, I usually order a Venti Americano with room, and ask for heavy whipping cream, and top if off with that. probably 2-3 carbs from the HWC, and that should be it.

If you use Splenda to sweeten, you may want to add a carb or two to account for the maltodextrin they use as a bulking agent in the packets.

Here you go for the large (Venti).
This is made with milk not HWC so the carbs are pretty high.

^ Made with almond milk it drops to 11 carbs.

Thanks guys. I have done this woe for over a year… decided to get back to basics and write in a food journal. But on day one I get wings at buffalo wild wings, then star bucks, now I can’t find the numbers. (I usually don’t eat out.) (I’ll start writing tomorrow.)

I use Cronometer which track all my foods and they have a ketogenic diet mode.

Not saying you can’t eat what you want, but to me pretty much anything from Starbucks isn’t going to be good for keto (and health) imo, I would just make my own coffee.

(You've tried everything else; why not try bacon?) #7

Don’t know about keto and health, but it for sure isn’t great for the wallet!

Making your own coffee and food is very Keto.

Personally, I drink one of three things at Starbucks:

  • Drop Coffee (either Pike, Blonde, or something fancy from a Reserve store)
  • Espresso Shots (usually paired with an ice water)
  • A latte with extra shots (how many depends on size) and heavy cream–usually this is my free drink
